He's not quite to walking very far yet, but he made great strides this weekend and will no doubt be getting around by himself in no time. He has come so far in such a short time. When we got him he couldn't crawl and he is almost walking already. What a fun weekend it was - look at the short clips below...

Our First Boating Adventure
Well, here is our new boat. We headed up to the lake on Saturday to take it out for the first time. Everyone was very excited. Our salesman took us out and explained all the ins and outs of the boat and lake to Rob. Then we took him back to the dock and headed out on our own. Everything went great. The kids loved it and Mom and Dad managed to make it through without one harsh word to each other (even when we were docking it). We can't wait for some warmer weather to really have some fun!One more thing.....Yes, Shelly's family, those are Bengal colors. When we decided to purchase the boat, Jorge said, "I don't want that boat because it has the Bengal's colors".
Jorge and Lucy love to sit up front but they are only allowed to when we are going slow.
Here's Captain Rob with his first mate!
Lucy ended up falling asleep and slept almost the whole time we were out.
Jorge, Mom and Joe chillin' in the back.
Visit with Friends
Last Thursday we had some friends come visit during the day while Jorge and Lucy were home from school. Angie, her two children and niece came up to meet Joe. We met Angie and Shannon while we were going through the adoption process with Jorge. We all ended up in Guatemala together bringing our boys home. We had a great visit. The kids had a blast playing together at the house and then even more fun when we went to Crazy Pins. As you can see, Lucy is missing from the photo as this was taken right before they were leaving and Lucy had a melt down and refused to participate.
Here's a picture of the Guatemalan boys.....Aden, Jorge and Joe. I love Aden's pose! Too funny!

I'm just so darn cute!
Getting ready for some boating fun!
Well....Mom and Dad went nuts! They decided to buy a boat! We decided a few weeks ago that we wanted to have a lot of outdoor family fun this summer and what better way to do that than spend weekends on a lake? We are so excited about all the fun we will have this summer with the kids. Jorge and Lucy are very excited. They got to pick out their life jackets and of course, they picked Dora and Spidey. We just hope that Joe enjoys it as much!Swimming with the fish
We made another trip to the zoo. We are trying to take advantage of Mom's time off and do as much outside things as we can. We finally got some nice weather and decided to go to the zoo for the afternoon. Here are my darlings posing in front of the big fish tank. They wouldn't sit in front of th shark tank ever since Mom scared them while they were looking at the sharks.Grandma's big boy!
Soccer Fun!
We attended our first professional soccer game. Jorge and Lucy were very excited. Jorge kept asking if he was going to play and we had to tell him that this game was only for grown ups. We had a great time. Here are a few pictures from the game.
Could Dad be any happier?
OK, Maybe he could.
That's my girl......eating cotton candy! I seem to remember a little girl about 30 years ago loving the pink sugar!
Here's the post cotton candy picture. Lucy is a pink mess while Jorge seemed to keep his blue (of course, what other color would Jorge choose?) cotton candy under control. Thank goodness for wet wipes!

Mom's attempt at some animal pictures
There were two monkeys in this exhibit, one black and one white. We learned that the black monkey was the male and the white one was female. Their babies would have golden fur. Joe seemed to like this exhibit the best.
The peacocks were in rare form. They roam the park and in the 3 years that we have been going to the zoo, I had never seen one spread his feathers. Today, we saw 3 different ones. This was the best shot.
Jorge really liked this area. He kept seeing all these colorful birds and would say, "Mom, you have to see THIS one!".
Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!
